Your data stays on your device. PasteGuard works entirely in your browser and does not send your information anywhere.

We don't collect personal data. We don't use analytics. We don't track you.

The extension saves your settings and masked text mappings locally in your browser. This data is only used to restore your original text in AI responses.

For automatic detection, you can optionally connect to a PasteGuard server of your choice. Text is sent only to the server you configure — we never receive your data.

You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the extension or clearing your browser data. No account or sign-up required.

PasteGuard is open source. You can review the code yourself on GitHub.
